A Bit of Drive In Flavor

One of the things on the list was going to the drive in. We went for Steve's birthday...good time, stupid show. However, it was nice to be outside doing something in the summer air. Enjoy the pics!

Books, the common flav

Books, one of the common threads to our summer.  Emily, Natalie, Morgan, and I can all agree that we have had time to read, read, read, and read some more this summer.  Good thing it is an activity on our list! I have enjoyed my reading time though and will probably start another book when I am done posting this. below are some of the books I have allowed to entertain me this summer.  None of them will win any literary awards and probably won't even make it to the best sellers list but they have given me varying levels of entertainment and I have to say, I am grateful for that.

Family fun in the sun

One of the items on our list is spend time with family and since Natalie posted her fun in the sun with her family, I thought I would post some of mine. This summer my brother's family came out to play with us. We went swimming, had family pictures taken, and took a trip on TRAX to Salt Lake. It was a great weekend with my entire family!

Little Bird House FLAV!

So check it! My sweet bird house. Being out of a job really sucks! Good thing I have such a great distraction! Ryan! What a fun guy! When he saw our list of 31 flavors of summer he insisted that we get to work! First project - Bird House! Really proud of it. More proud that Ryan went to Michael's and we stayed there for about an hour finding the best things for this project. Ryan was a little more into it than I was! We have also done some other things but I didn't take any pictures. We made root beer floats, and had a movie Marathon.

The Hike

Jennie and I decided to be ambitious and took a hike up Waterfall Canyon last week. Needless to say we found out how out of shape we are. We decided to take a couple of pictures before so we could prove that we went, because the aftershots would've been less than flattering...ha ha.

No Job Bear Lake Flavor!!

Well now that I dont have a job I find it a lot easier to do some things on "The List"!!! I was able to spend some time in Bear Lake with my cute sister Rebecca and her family! LOVE my nephews!

Mexico Flava Flav

Morgan and myself have a bunch of fun on a work cruise to Mexico! This was one great flavor! We had a ton of fun... regardless of being a work function, we had ourselves a good time!!

Saturday Swim Day - Yummy Flavor!!

Saturday Swim Day has been a long ongoing tradition! The weather has not been the greatest over the last couple months, so we were lucky today!! Not much too it but laying around a killer pool and shootin' the breeze!!! Added the pleasure of having Jake join us!

Adam's Speedy B-Day Party

Planning Adam's 30th Birthday was really easy!!! All he wanted to do was have a steak and go to Speed Street!! DONE and Done. Of course it involves a yummy cake and lots of friends. Had a great time. Mini Golf Tourny!!! - Bring it on!

As Jennie mentioned we have an exciting night playin a little MG!! That is Mini Golf for you newbies to the sport!! It was a pretty intense game... and I must say the best game OF MY LIFE. Everyone said I should look into a Mini League!! I just might after this night. Jennie on the other hand... Keep practicin! JK JEN!! LOVE YA! Good times had by ALL that joined us!
